With COVID still impacting our ability to host in-person events for the patients and families at the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital, we had to start thinking – what else can we do?

Bobbie-jo Mosser, an inside sales representative at Innovize and member of our Innovize CARES team had the brilliant idea of trying a “May Basket” prize drawing.

We sent out the message to all Innovize teams to put their heads together and assemble a themed basket with their team to be an item up for grabs during the prize drawing. We had a total of 11 baskets put together by our teams, and boy, did they exceed expectations:

Over the course of two weeks, we sold tickets for $2 a piece to our associates and a few visitors who stopped in and saw the fun.

We had some associates who were particularly passionate about some of the baskets, making this fundraiser quite competitive! We sold roughly 1,900 tickets, resulting in just over $3,800 for the hospital in support of the current initiatives we’re helping to fund!

Thank you to everyone who assembled baskets, purchased tickets, and donated! And a special shout out to Bobbie-jo for crafting such a fun idea that fostered a ton of involvement from our Innovize associates!

Looks like this new idea will be here to stay! Be sure to stop by Innovize next May for your chance at some awesome prizes!
